Guidelines Of Yoga Practise



1  Padmasana should practised for one minute before and after finishing Yogasana in tranquility.
2  It is good to practiced Yogasana 5-7 in morning or 5-7 in the evening. 
3  The bladder and large intestines should be emptied and legs,hands and face have to be washed before performing Asanas.                                                                                                  
4  It is practised immediately after a bath or if yoga is performed there should gap of 20 minutes before taking bath.
5  It should be practised on a carpet, preferebly in a spacious well ventilated atmosphere.It is far better to practised in open air terrace.
6  After sexual intercourse that is after 5 hours one can practise.If the intercourse were to be in the early morning the yoga can be practised in the evening.
7  It is better to avoid potato,curd,sugar,fried food.Avoiding Non Veg foods on Tuesday and Friday.
8  It has to be practised after four hours after food or one hour after tea or coffee.Food can be taken only after 20 minutes of practising.
9  When one is awake in the night or travels long distance or takes oil bath or feels tired or has fever or headache on e should not practised asana and take rest on that day practising only savasana.
10  While performing Asana if one gets sweat or becomes tired,Practising shanthi asana will give rest.Only then other Asanas can be continued.
11 With the peace of mind and calmness,closing the eyes it should be practised. Asanas with the pair have to be practised on both sides.It should not be practised on one side alone.
12 Practising shanthi asana in between Asanas gives needed rest to body and keeps us fresh and energetic.
13 Those who take any medicine can take it after 20 minutes of yoga practised.thinking that these medicines have to be taken in empty  stomach before yoga practised is not right.
